Analytics

At Questar, we understand that the quality of analysis determines the value of information.  Our objective is to deliver findings to our clients that are accurate, insightful, and actionable.  To confirm the known.  To discover the unknown.  To provide information that can close the gap between merely satisfied employees and fully engaged, high performance employees.

People Make the Difference

It’s in the talented hands of Questar’s expert analysts and consultants that organizational research comes alive.  These skilled individuals draw out implication, insight, and trends from your data and deliver them in real-world context.

Questar employs an accomplished group of professionals with varied backgrounds and expertise in research, including advanced degrees in the social sciences such as Industrial/Organizational Psychology.  They conduct a full range of quantitative analyses involving descriptive and inferential statistics to uncover trends, patterns, and meaning in your data.  They can also help you understand the impact of your survey results on key business outcomes such as turnover, productivity, and customer loyalty.

More than Just Numbers

Our consultants provide information that is real-world based, understandable, and pragmatic.  Analyses are tailored to best fit your unique needs using a combination of descriptive and inferential statistics.  Depending on your needs and objectives, we can identify:

The “critical few” issues that have the greatest impact on employee engagement (or whatever outcome you are hoping to achieve).  This knowledge is useful for planning where efforts should be focused and where application of resources would yield the highest returns.

A comparison of engagers vs. disengagers in your organization.  What drives employees to be highly engaged is not always the same as what drives employees to be disengaged.  This method can also be used with other outcome measures such as intention to stay with the organization.

Variations from normative benchmarks and/or historical data when such data are available.

Differences between employee demographics (e.g. age, tenure, gender) and issues within employee subgroups such as divisions, units, geographic entities, etc.

Correlations between employee engagement and other key business drivers such as customer satisfaction, turnover, safety measures, etc.

Findings are presented in oral or written format to your executive staff.  We understand the importance of this step.  Our consultants partner with your internal survey staff to present the results and interpret them in the context of our experience and your organization’s specific business goals, and offer observations and recommendations for action.
