Reporting
Questar is skilled at developing reports that maximize the impact of survey results. We have standard report designs available, or we can build a custom report template that will meet your reporting objectives and your brand essence.
The Need to Know
Good decision-making is based on sound data and insight. That’s where reporting comes in. Because simply displaying numbers is not enough. Reports have to provide information in a format that makes it easy to understand and use. If it’s too confusing to find the information you need – the information that can help you set your priorities and get started – the opportunity to implement positive, sustainable change may be lost.
We design our reports to meet your needs. Results of an engagement survey may be provided to every level of management that is being asked to take action. You don’t want to overwhelm managers with so much information that they have trouble understanding it all or knowing where to start. Exit survey data, on the other hand, is often used in aggregate form to spot trends; when linked with engagement data, you can identify what differentiates those who leave from those who choose to stay.
The Need for Clarity
Questar’s data reports are easy to read and highly intuitive. Frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviations, significance, etc., are readily available. We can include historical and/or normative data, displayed in graphic or tabular format. We can include any type of statistical data you want, and display it in a manner that makes sense to your report recipients.
We include bookmarks in our online PDF reports that let recipients go to any section of the report immediately to find the information they seek, making the reports very user-friendly. Online reports can be downloaded and saved or printed.
We provide both individual and aggregate reports. We can also link your reports to online action-planning and development tools.
How Do You Compare?
For employee surveys, Questar maintains an external norms database for QS.Engage based on thousands of employees across a variety of companies and industries. We balance data from: 1) a random sample of respondents in the appropriate industry from our client database; and 2) a random sample of adults employed in the appropriate industry by a variety of non-client companies throughout the country. This ensures that our norms are truly representative and generalizable – not just a snapshot of our current client base.
The Results Are In
One highly effective and very popular report is our “Results Are In.” Most appropriate for employee surveys, this short, consultant-written piece quickly communicates to employees your key organizational results in an engaging and highly readable format. Many clients e-mail the piece directly to all employees, or post it at various locations and on their intranet. The “Results Are In” report helps fulfill the organization’s commitment to keep employees informed throughout the process and further stresses the importance of the survey program.
